What a burner eSIM cannot do
It hides your name from the purchase, not your device from the network. The phone's hardware identifier is visible to the network it connects to, so a burner eSIM on your usual phone is less separate than a burner eSIM on a separate device. Is a burner eSIM legal?

Can I throw it away after one trip?
Yes. Delete the profile from your phone settings. Any unused balance stays linked to your recovery token if you ever want it back.
Does it come with a phone number?
